On a recent trip to Seville, Spain I was inspired by the historic “azulejo” (tiles) everywhere. It prompted this series exploring repetitive shapes and their layered history. This collection reimagines these traditional motifs using a bold, contemporary color palette.
My background in graphic design quietly shapes every piece I approach. Years of working with grids, typography, and visual hierarchies have given me a compositional eye that carry through to my paintings.
My works are structured while deliberately introducing unexpected pops that challenge perfect symmetry.
This tension defines my artistic style.
